Head Coach: Manny DeAndrade
Manny graduated from Stoughton High School in 1990, and played for the soccer team all 4 years including 3 on the varsity squad. He was the varsity captain and was selected as a Hockomock League all-star during his senior year. He was also a league all-star as a part of the track & field team during his senior year. He attended Fitchburg State and Bridgewater State, graduating from the latter with a B.S. in business management. During college, he played in the semi-pro league, LASA, as a member of the Clube Luis de Camoes in Stoughton. Manny remains active as a player, where he currently plays for Mansfield United in the Over-the-Hill League.
He currently holds his class F & G licenses and is working on additional licenses to further broaden his soccer and coaching knowledge. Manny has recently joined the East Bay United FC coaching staff as an assistant for the Boys U18 team. However, he has been coaching for over 10 years for rec, travel and club teams. He spent the last four years as co-head coach of the older boys’ team at the Taunton Sports Club. The team enjoyed success in both the MASC and Maple leagues. Manny is also a certified referee in MA and has been actively working for the last three years.
Manny hopes to use the knowledge and experience he has acquired over the years of playing, coaching and reffing to help develop and mentor all club players that he comes in contact with in the hopes of helping them become the best player and human being they can be.
